Started in Washington D.C. Ad Ideas moved with John P. Voegtli to Wisconsin as a retirement business. His biggest customers were political candidates, since his wife Gladys worked for Senator Bobby Kennedy. Dying of cancer his wish was for Paula Kindsgrab, his daughter, to continue Ad Ideas. Given her determination to "Jump through Hoops" for customers, the business grew rapidly into one of the largest promotion agencies in Wisconsin.
